“I hate saying this, but I have to cancel Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.” Tyler, the Creator, wrote on his X (ex-Twitter) account on June 20, 2024.

In the following two days, the fans and the music and festivals’ communities that wanted to see him in the Outside Lands 2024 lineup and Lollapalooza 2024 lineup set Reddit and social media on fire with comments expressing their disappointment.

Tyler’s recent cancelations have left fans in the dark, as he cited an unspecified commitment he could no longer fulfill. The lack of details has sparked widespread speculation and uncertainty about the nature of this undisclosed obligation.

This can happen. The show goes on! The organizers of one of the biggest festivals in the US, Lollapalooza and Outside Lands, have already announced the replacement for the artist.

The Lollapalooza 2024 Lineup poster says Megan Thee Stallion, and the replacement for Tyler, The Creator, as a headliner of the Outside Lands 2024 lineup is Sabrina Carpenter.
