When Is Outside Lands 2024?

The festival gates open at 11 a.m. every day, and the music kicks off at noon. Outside Lands have curfew of 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9:40 p.m. on Sunday.

The Outside Lands Festival lasts three days, and it takes place in the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA.

What Music Genres Does Outside Lands Cover?
Three days are more or less standard for festivals these days, however, it is surprising how many music genres are packed into the festival. From alternative rock and pop music to Latin and world-beat fusion, the Outside lands schedule always makes us excited. There is a selection for hip-hop and rap fans as well. The Outside Lands Fest lineup is an example of musical diversity.
You can catch some amazing concerts, but they can hear some amazing jam bands, and jam sessions as well.

Who Is Headlining Outside Lands 2024?
We are excited to see the Outside Lands lineup for 2024. It will be an incredible musical journey with headliners like Tyler The Creator, who was also part of this year’s Coachella lineup, The Killers, who are also part of the Boston Calling Festival 2024 Lineup, and Sturgill Simpson. It will be a busy summer for Post Malone, who was in this year’s Rolling Loud lineup. He is a special guest star on Outside Lands and will perform a country set.
And that’s just the beginning. At this year’s Outside Lands, we will also be able to see Kaytranada, Chris Lake, Gryffin, The Postal Service, Jungle, and music icon Grace Jones. It already sounds like a fantastic experience we wouldn’t want to miss.
Who Else Is Playing Outside Lands 2024?
The rest of the lineup looks amazing, as well. Rockband Young the Giant, singer-songwriter/actress Reneé Rapp, and Victoria Monét could be headliners, too. For electronic music fans Soma stage is back and Idris Elba is here to remind us that before he was a movie star, he was amazing DJ.

How Much Do the Tickets for Outside Land Cost?
With plenty of time until August 2024, there is plenty of time to discuss tickets in the future. There is no official news for 2024, so as some sort of guide we are sharing 2023 info.
If you’re looking for a single-day ticket, it was $199 plus fees. And if you’re up for the full three-day experience, those tickets started at $449 plus fees. Get ready for a good time! 🎟️💃

The general admission pass for a single day in 2023 was $199 + fees.
GA Plus
Hate long lanes and you dread portable toilets? GA Plus holders enter on a fast lane and have access to the GA+ lounge. GA+ lounge you say? This ticket includes flushable bathrooms, refillable water stations, free soft drinks, a full-service bar, and food for purchase. Single-day tickets for this VIP treatment in 2023 were $299 plus fees. For a 3-day pass, you needed to set aside $634 + fees.

Thinking about VIP? Here is a rundown. Separate entrances at the north and south sides of the park. Exclusive VIP viewing spots at the Lands End, Sutro, and Twin Peaks stages with VIP bars, a chill VIP courtyard lounge near the Lands End stage (think exclusive food vendors, top-notch bars, upgraded restrooms, and more), a cool festival poster to remember the day, exclusive merch to snag, and lockers for rent.
If you’re eyeing a single-day VIP experience, last year it was $499 plus fees. But heads up, the 3-day VIP tickets are usually claimed early. In 2023, VIP 3-day pass cost was $929 plus fees.
Golden Gate Club
Golden Gate Club was the ultimate festival luxury in 2023. Single-day tickets were $2,199 plus fees, and if you were looking for the full three-day experience, it was $4,899 plus fees. Expensive? Hell yes! Now, let’s talk about last year’s perks: front-stage viewing, cruising between stages in gold carts, a special entrance just for you, and access to a private lounge. You can also enjoy delicious food prepared by Bay Area legends like Nancy Oakes and Dana Younkin, as well as Tyler Florence and Ravi Kapur. Eating their specialties, you’ll feel like an emperor of Outside Lands.

What Is the Best Way to Get My Tickets?
Outside Land tickets are available for sale on the Front Gate Tickets. However, getting those is not a small task. Some years, tickets are sold in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. So! Follow the official page and festival Instagram account.
When Will I Get My Ticket?
Tickets are sent by mail, usually a few weeks before the festival.
I Got My Ticket. Now What?
Well as a proud ticketholder with uncanny perception, you noticed that your ticket is a bracelet. The most important thing now is to register the bracelet! You have to activate the bracelet before you go to the festival ground, or risk being stuck with an exceptionally expensive piece of plastic jewelry!
Should I Get a 3-Day Pass?
Well, this is a question only you can answer yourself. If you plan to go to concerts and performances in the Golden Gate Park, it’s better to get 3 day pass. Otherwise, a single day pass is fine, especially if you are sure what artist you want to watch! Of course, all bets are off when you see your favorite bands headlining 3 different days!
Is a VIP Ticket Worth Extra?
The lineup is the same for everyone, but hey, if you’re a VIP at Outside Lands, you score awesome views. And here’s the real deal: you get access to a sweet lounge area and better, cleaner bathrooms. Talking about festival perks! 🌟🚽
Should I Drive to Outside Lands or Take an Uber?
Neither! Traffic is a nightmare every time and ride-hailing is very expensive! If you can walk to the festival grounds, do it! You will save some money and get some exercise as well, double win! Bus or shuttle is a smart choice too!
It Is Cold at Night!
Pack accordingly, festival-goers! Even though it can get warm, that is not something you should expect. Expect a chilly evening after the sun sets and the Pacific thick fog rolls in. Like most festivals Outside Lands loves its guests at grounds all the time. You can get in (and out) only once per day. So take everything you need!

Lockers are a thing. They will help you keep your hands free from carrying your jacket all day so you can arms up when your favorite band starts your favorite song. You can keep items overnight. The bad news is lockers are expensive, and you will have to reserve ahead, but you can share with friends and split the “bill”! A locker is also a great meeting spot if you ever get separated!
Be Early! Everywhere!
Arrive early and put on your blanket to claim your spot, especially if you are coming with kids. If you want a good spot for the concert, be early too.

If you are planning a visit to “Weed Land” get cash. You can use a Debit Card too, or you can pay with crypto, it is the tech capital of the world after all.

“AirBnB is probably mostly booked up for the dates in 2024 will be, but OSL is sandwiched between two residential areas that give you also the taste of being able to live in the city. Downtown is just a straight shot down and takes no time. I’ve always drove and parked at a school parking lot on the south side of GGP and have walked to every OSL. It helps support their PTA and it isn’t that bad of a walk. So I can’t speak to Ubering, but I’m sure it ain’t cheap. Easy to get back? Yes.” – It is said on Reddit
