Rock the South Festival Reviews

We found an interesting review for the Rock the South 2023 edition. According to the author of the review, this festival is exactly what Cullman needs.

“Once those gates opened, it was like nothing before that mattered. The hunger for a serotonin-sparking experience had been satiated, and the frustration of waiting in high heat, humidity, and rain was gone. Concertgoers gleefully shared their favorite outfit accessory and how far they had traveled. There’s something really impactful about seeing thousands of people from different walks of life coming together to share the same common interest: feeling that same pounding vibrato I once hated, the simple joy of witnessing an artist perform, and the feeling of community people had started forming.”

Says the author Cayla Grace Murphy in her review on Cullman Tribune.

Another great review published on Al.com says:

“You sweat just looking at photos from this festival, so just imagine what standing in the gravy-thick humidity felt like, justifying the thousands (millions?) of gallons of whatever cold beverage might quench the thirst of all those parched honky-tonkers, though, as you might have guessed, beer did the trick.”

In general, people love country music festivals, and Rock the South seems like the favorite in the US – really close to the Barefoot Country Music Festival’s popularity.
