Bloomington IL Youth Artists Release 3rd International Collaborative Hip Hop Track “We Are Here”

BCAI CAH - We are here

On September 7th, six young Artists ages 6-16, four adult Artists out of Bloomington, Chicago
and Ghana, two national engineers/producers, and one agreed-upon theme bring us the new
release “We Are Here,” celebrating now three globally streaming songs from the BCAI-CAH brand.

“We Are Here” rhythmically explodes with thoughts and experiences, war, peace, creation and
destruction from youth who absolutely have things to say, insight, and perspective on how to see and change the current systems they interact with.

With an instrumental that had to include gaming, K-Pop, Drill, and Rock sounds, national producer Ollie Bravo once again made it happen for BCAI’s Hip Hop Elemental Arts participants. Their most recent Session 6 has produced a full-length collaboration of genres, sound, and ideas co-created alongside local legends Maestro Jones, Kendall Miles, Troy Zeleznik, Chicago legend (now in Ghana) Seven Six Supah, and under the production expertise of national engineers/producers Sax and Ollie Bravo.

The song focuses on the theme of the dichotomy of Hype and Calm and will leave you hitting repeat to ensure you caught everything. The young artists in Session 7 this Fall will bring us the complementary music video.

Saturday, September 7, at 5:30 pm, at Bloomington’s Creativity Center, BCAI will be hosting a Track Release party, including a live performance by Maestro Jones, interviews with all “We Are Here” artists and, of course, the first public listening of this genre-bending, imagination igniting masterpiece.

The song is available on popular music streaming services.
