When Wu-Tang Clan announced live shows at The Theater in Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas, it was excellent news for everyone who loves the group. However, we discovered the Wu-Tang Show in Vegas did not finish in March. Before September finishes, there will be two more shows in Vegas and one in Salt Lake.
Embed from Getty Images“Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues… The Las Vegas Residency” started with concerts on February 9 and February 10 during Super Bowl LVIII weekend. There was a repeat with two more shows on March 22 and 23. The group announced two more concerts at The Theater on September 27 and September 28. They were scheduled to play at “Kilby Block Party 2024!” but they will miss it. Just today, the festival announced that Wu-Tang Clan has a scheduling conflict.
“Wu-Tang: An American Saga” Is Over. What now?
RZA and Alex Tse (Check out for Wu-Tang members’ real names) created “Wu-Tang: An American Saga,” a TV show for Hulu. It is a fictionalized biography of the dozen young black men who grew into one of the biggest hip-hop bands. The story follows band members through hardships, the Clan’s formation, and early glory days. The series had three seasons, premiering on September 4, 2019.
The last episode aired on April 5, 2023. It was the 10th most in-demand streamed show in the USA. However, critics and fans felt that this installment had unfairly treated legends of Hip-Hop.
Bad news: if you liked the first three seasons, there is no chance for continuation.
Where to Watch Wu-Tang Clan?
So far, only officially announced concerts are coming in September. The “scheduling conflict” must have come from somewhere, so we keep our fingers crossed and await a pleasant surprise.
