Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Nelly Furtado have released their new song, “Keep Going Up.” This single is released under the labels Mosley Music Group and Def Jam Recordings.
The collaboration between Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Nelly Furtado has produced a fantastic, optimistic, and positively charged song with a contemporary production. Timbaland’s claim “We Created Magic” might sound bold, but it’s not far from reality.
Accompanying the song is a music video that provides a glimpse into the creative process of the three artists recording the song in the studio. While all three collaborated on the recording, Timbaland and Justin Timberlake recorded their vocals in the same studio, and Furtado contributed her vocals remotely from another location.
“I was on a call with one of the [Beatclub] members and they played this song that had this infectious hook. I said, ‘That’s it!’ I didn’t know what it was but I knew that was it. I was walking around like, ‘Ooh! What if it was me, Justin and Nelly?’ So, while I was on the call, Nelly texted me about something. I said, ‘I was just about to text you about a song that I think we should do.’ She was like, ‘When? Where? I’m there.”

This isn’t the first time that Timbaland, Timberlake, and Furtado have collaborated. Sixteen years ago, they released the single “Give It to Me,” which climbed to the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
