The organizer announced the lineup for the HiJinx 2024 on Sep 10. Considering the previous years’ lineups, we recognized that some of the artists, such as Zomboy, ALLEYCVT, Subtronics, JOYRYDE, and Capozzi, are, in a way, standard players on the HiJinx playground. We also expected those artists to be in the HiJinx festival lineup in 2024, but our predictions were not so good.

Since the festival is in December, the audience is still not excited about it. But we are sure once the summer is over, people will start speculating on different names and performers they expect to see during the HiJinx 2024 edition. The first Friday in September is the usual date when the HiJinx festival lineup is announced. We stayed awake on Friday, Sep 6, 2024, but the lineup was not announced.
The organizers were teasing the HiJinx fans.
Finally, on Sep 10, the 2024 lineup was announced. We can see that the HiJinx stages welcome exceptional EDM performers.

Seems that pickpocketing is a common issue at festivals, so it’s important to be cautious. Consider using a fanny pack and keeping your valuables safe.
Get your festival gear on!
By festival gear, we mean earplugs, hydration packs, and comfortable shoes. Always get earplugs for EDM festivals.
If you can afford it, get an anti-theft hydration pack. This way you won’t have to run to water refill stations all the time and you will be safe.
Wear comfortable shoes. Festivals are terrible places for wearing new shows. Blisters are no fun and can ruin your experience.
If I go out for a smoke, can I re-enter the festival?
No. Re-entry to the festival is not allowed. Don’t worry, there will be a designated smoking area.

HiJinx happens in Philadephia, and no camping is available on the festival grounds, knowing that winters can be pretty harsh.
Sometimes, the festival organizers offer package tickets with accommodation included, but those tickets are minimal and quickly sold. That’s why we suggest you find a convenient hotel where you can stay or rent an apartment.
In the meantime, explore the beautiful city and have a nice meal, like the famous Philly Cheesesteak or roast pork, to enjoy the taste.

HiJinx 2023 Lineup
The HiJinx 2023 lineup got people talking with its awesomely impressive roster of electronic music artists, headlined by the genre’s hottest acts, including Skrillex, RL Grime, Subtronics, and a special collab between Rezz and deadmau5 going by the name Rezzmau5. This was the fifth year of the festival, upon which they celebrated with a very eclectic mix of performers from the various sub-scenes in electronic music, from heavy headliners such as Liquid Stranger and Zomboy to rising stars like Capozzi and DJ Susan. With the high-energy performances and the spectacular light shows of the immersive production, the festival lit up the Pennsylvania Convention Center on December 29 and 30, 2023.

But what made this lineup of HiJinx Festival 2022 extra special was an awesomely balanced roster of headliners and special back-to-backs, touting established and growing stars from within the electronic music world. Some headliners were DJ Snake, Flume, Ganja White Night, and Rezz-artists known for bringing high-octane energy to their performances. The festival added two iconic back-to-backs: first, there was the collaborative GIGANTIC NGHTMRE with Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE, and the other gracing the lineup of GRiZ and Zeds Dead, adding to the excitement. Yet, meanwhile, big names setting a course for HiJinx 2022, combined along with collaborative performances, made one memorable night for attendees, thus further cementing it as one of the best stops on the East Coast for all electronic music lovers.
