The Electric Daisy Carnival, or EDC Orlando, is one of the biggest electronic dance music festivals in the United States. Every year, hundreds of thousands of EDM music fans flock to Orlando for three days to enjoy one of the best electronic music experiences. The festival takes place at Tinker Field in Orlando, Florida.
Insomniac organizes EDC. Much like the rest of the festivals by Insomniac, it features multiple stages and stunning production and visuals. There are fantastic stage designs, light shows, and pyrotechnics, so it’s a threat to the eyes and ears. There are plenty of art installations and sculptures, and visitors contribute with unbelievable costumes and atmosphere.
And if you are a hardcore festival fan, there is more. EDC Orlando offers camping options for an even more immersive experience, extra activities, after-parties, or a chance to hang out with like-minded people.
In 2023, EDC Orlando had a spike of 178% in attendance, and if Insomniac delivers another impressive lineup, growth will continue this year, too!

Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando Reviews
What do the festival critics and regular festivalgoers say about EDC Orlando? The festival is a visual and EDM gem, but it is also sometimes overcrowded.
“This year at EDC Orlando, Insomniac brought in tremendously talented artists, colorful lights that could be seen from miles away, and endless amounts of mesmerizing art installations to be seen across the festival! Everything was brought together seamlessly to create an enjoyable and loving environment.”
Synardia Peoples for IEDM.
“Not as expensive as EDCLV. The weather is nice but the crowd kinda sucks. Lack of PLUR vibes , lots of mean and inconsiderate people, sound is a bit quiet. Granted it’s Florida. I can’t or won’t stop you from going but it was just my experience.”
