Daedric Album: Double album based on The Elder Scrolls

Daedric Album

Composer Valery Bak, under the name “ChessWood“, presents a large-scale musical release: the double album “Daedric Album“, dedicated to the cult universe of The Elder Scrolls. This is a unique journey through the cold shores of Skyrim, the tombs of Morrowind, and the golden fields of Cyrodiil, reinterpreted through the sound of a symphony orchestra and atmospheric ambient.

The album is divided into two chapters, each of which is released one week apart:

  • The first chapter will be released on March 13, 2026.
  • The second chapter will be available on March 20th, 2026.

Each chapter includes 36 tracks, for a total of 72. This is the result of over eight years of work, an attempt to convey not only the very spirit and epic moments of the universe, but also to tell through music about various corners of Tamriel.

The album belongs to the Modern Classics, Ambient, and Soundtrack genres.

“Most of the time, I chose the theme that I wanted to embody in music, but sometimes the theme chose me. Like an element, she captured me in her net, not letting go until the work on her was completed. I hope that the listener will be able to feel the emotions and colors that were embedded in the works. And through music, take a fresh look at the universe of the Elder Scrolls.”
