The Macedonian-British duo Yova, composed of Jova Radevska and Mark Vernon, presented their new single “Dreamcatchers“. This comes as no surprise to their fans. The band began announcing the single back in mid-September 2023.
“Dreamcatchers” by Yova is not only a standalone single but also serves as an exciting announcement for an upcoming album of the same name. If all goes as planned, fans can expect the album to drop in early 2024. “Dreamcatchers” will have three different versions. For now, we can listen to the first version of the song, and in addition, we will be able to hear two more different performances on the announced album. The single is composed by Jova Radevska and Mark Vernon.

Yova’s Team
Yova has a rich history of collaborating with outstanding musicians, which continues on this track. We already knew from the announcement that top musicians would participate in the production of the release. Alex Thomas, famous for his performances with John Cale from the Velvet Underground and Anna Calvi, who is probably known to most of the audience as the composer for the popular TV series Peaky Blinders, are part of “Dreamcatchers”. The guitar is masterfully played by James Sedwards, a collaborator of Thurston Moore from Sonic Youth. Yova also performs regularly with Kate Moore on cello and Daniel O’Sullivan on bass.
The talented Cameron Craig retains his role as the audio producer for “Dreamcatchers”. Cameron’s remarkable work has even earned him a Grammy Award for Album of the Year, specifically for his contributions to Adele’s album “25.”
The song receives its final technical and engineering touch, known as mastering, from the exceptional Matt Colton. Matt has an impressive portfolio as a mastering engineer, having worked on releases by renowned artists such as George Michael, Depeche Mode, The Rolling Stones, Muse, Peter Gabriel, and Coldplay.
We’ve kind of gotten used to the fact that the excellent team at Yova can’t bring us anything less than an outstanding musical experience. And this edition notes that in the world of music, creativity and collaboration have limitless possibilities. Jova Radevska’s vocals will once again take fans on a journey to real enjoyment. Mark Vernon is a real asset as pianist and guitarist, but the way his music follows and intertwines with Radevska’s vocals is incredible.

Yova announced live launch on 25/10/2023 in London. The event will be the first public presentation of their new single “Dreamcatchers”.
