In the world of music, differences and diversity are extremely valued. Different artists from different backgrounds often collaborate to create a unique musical blend. Bulgarian hit singer Galena and Serbian star Tea Tairovic released their pop-folk song “Abracadabra“.
The song and video were released on 15/06/2023 under the KVZ Music label.
Collaborations can bring a super-interesting mix of cultural and musical influence, but that’s not the case in this song. The vocals of the singers are similar enough that if it weren’t for the video, you would say that only one of them sings (if they’re singing in the same language, of course). In addition, the melody chosen for the collaboration does not correspond to the region from which the two singers come.
If the magic of the music isn’t enough to draw you in, then the looks of Galena and Tea surely will. Both singers look beautiful, which is a great advantage for the visual component of the project.
The singers, together with Sasha Lazic, are signed as authors of the lyrics. “Abracadabra” by Galena and Tairovic was recorded at the DG Production studio. The author of the music is Fivos “Phoebus” Tassopoulos, and the arrangement is by Daniel Galev. The music video was directed by Viktor Antonov – Ricky.
Galena (Galina Vicheva Gencheva) is one of the most popular singers in Bulgaria. In 2021 her earnings were estimated between 930 thousand and 1.3 million US dollars. Tea Tairovic is a Serbian singer, songwriter and dancer, who rose to fame on “Zvezde Granda“.
