Leb i Sol in Serbia will hold two instrumental contacts. The legendary Macedonian band Leb i Sol will be working at the end of September 2023. The band is scheduled to host an instrumental concert in Belgrade on 28/09, followed by a guest appearance at the Drum Dum Fest taking place on 29/09 and 30/09.
The highly recognizable Macedonian and Yugoslav jazz-rock band, Leb i Sol, is set to perform at the “Zappa Baza” club. The current line-up of Leb i Sol has evolved since its heyday, featuring Kokan Dimushevski on keyboards, Bodan Arsovski on bass guitar, Mihail Parushev on drums, and Dimitar Bozhikov on guitar.
The band recorded its last album “I taka nataka…” in 2007. Another ex-Yu rock legend, Dado Topić, was a guest on the album.
The repertoire of this line-up includes all the songs from the band’s first to the last album. The audience in Serbia will be able to enjoy “Jovano, Jovanke”, “Bistra voda”, “Kako ti drago”, “Ruchni rad” and many other songs of the band.
It’s interesting to note that despite having a rich history of hundreds of concerts, the band has a relatively smaller number of instrumental performances in their repertoire.
