The band from Bitola, Code 369, made a resonant entry into the music scene with their latest offering, “Ostani do kraj” (single “Stay Till The End”) released on 20/10/2021. The song is an interesting mix of several genres, it has an easy-listening nature, and so we placed it in the group of popular music for a wide array of listeners.
Code 369 defies traditional genre classifications and this is what they say about their music:
New musical moments of funk, jazz and classical instrumentalizations have been introduced in the music of Code 369 that weave into the recognizable rock foundation and influences of contemporary music from the pop and rock domain. Their musical thought is always on the border between alternative rock and commercial rock and pop music, keeping the freshness, freedom and avant-garde ideas of the first category, as well as the acceptability of the second. Universal human and literary values, love, as the driving force, and the power of the individual, as a driver towards his best self, can be identified in their lyrics.
“Ostani do kraj” is a single that marks the anticipation of Code 369’s debut album “Stages of Love,” which promotion has been scheduled for 27/10/2023.
Code 369 was founded in 2020 in Bitola. Members of the band are Irena Dimovska (vocals), Daniel Mitrevski (guitar, backing vocals), Ile Lulevski (drums, backing vocals) and Kosta Stevanoski (bass guitar, keyboards).
Although the band is relatively new, the members have already been known to the Macedonian music lovers. Irena Dimovska, Daniel Mitrevski and Ile Luleski are also members of the band Pampers.
