Phish is a little bit of a different festival than we are used to. Phish is actually a band that is known for playing multi-day festivals throughout their career, and these events are a major part of the Phish fan experience. That means it’s one of the simplest festival lineups among all US festivals we talked about recently.
The best thing is that Phish fans can’t predict when and what will happen next when it comes to this very special event. The most recent announcement is for the upcoming Mondegreen, a 4-day Phish festival, as part of the band’s summer tour.
Are you curious to learn more about this one? We promise this will be an exciting tour for everyone:
When and Where is Phish 2024?
According to the official information available, the 4-day Phish experience is scheduled for 15-18 August in Woodlands, Dover. With musical experiences and on-site camping, you can have one of the most unique musical adventures in your life.
Phish Lineup and Genre
Phish is a rock band in general, but they’re focused on funk, jam, progressive rock, and psychedelic rock, too. The lineup stays a secret until the festival starts.
The band performs jam sessions in various formats, gathers with the fans, and contributes to their on-site activities.
Since this is their 11th self-promotional festival, it’s also worth mentioning that they weren’t on a similar adventure for almost a decade. The last one was in 2015 at Watkins Glen International in New York.
As you suppose, we’re talking about something unique – a combination of music, jams, having fun, eating well, and enjoying art installations.
And yes – Phish are headliners and main acts at their own festival!
Phish Previous Festivals
This band has a messy past and is one of the most popular festival concepts. Since 1886, Phish has organized ten festivals, with 2020 being the 11th one.

In 2018, they announced the Curveball festival to be their 11th one. Sadly, the event was canceled, leading to the 2024 edition to be the 11th one in Phish career.

Festivals Similar to Phish
As we said – Phish festival it’s one of its kind. The reason is pretty obvious – no band had ever planned and executed a whole festival instead of a concert or tour. And Phish are doing that the right way.
They don’t have a regular schedule, and you can’t predict when the next edition will be.
But if you’re looking for rock music festivals, we highly recommend:
