Here is some exciting news for the Outside Land fans: Starting in 2025, there will be a second weekend and more exciting Outside Land lineups on the Polo Field.

The Outside Lands Festival lasts three days in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA.
What Music Genres Does Outside Lands Cover?
Three days are more or less standard for festivals these days. However, it is surprising how many music genres are packed into the festival. From alternative rock and pop music to Latin and world-beat fusion, the Outside Lands schedule always excites us. There is also a selection for hip-hop and rap fans. The Outside Lands Fest lineup is an example of musical diversity.
You can catch some fantastic concerts, but you can also hear exciting jam bands and jam sessions.

The last time we checked out (Last update: March 27, 2025), the 3-day tickets were still available.
- GA: $529 (Tier 3)

Important Info about Outside Land Lineup for 2025
This section has advice and tips about Outside Land from festivalgoers. Read the FAQs on social media and some advice from local experts.
- You usually receive your tickets via email a few weeks before the festival.
- After receiving your ticket, the most essential thing is to register the bracelet. You must activate the bracelet before you go to the festival grounds.
- Is a VIP ticket worth the extra money? You get access to a sweet lounge area and better, cleaner bathrooms. The Outside Lands website has an excellent “Compare ticket perks” table to help you understand whether you want a VIP ticket.
- If you can walk to the festival grounds, do it! Taking a bus or shuttle is a wise choice, too. Traffic is a nightmare every time. Driving to Outside Lands or taking an Uber should be avoided.
- Dress in layers!
- You can get in (and out) only once daily, so take everything you need! PRO TIP: Bring a power bank for your phone!
- We recommend getting a locker. There are many benefits to having one: You can store items overnight, it’s a meeting spot if you ever get separated from your mates, and it keeps your hands free. But the lockers are expensive.
- Be early! Everywhere, especially if you are coming with kids.
- For grassland bring cash! If you are planning a visit to “Weed Land,” get cash. You can also use a Debit Card or pay with crypto; it is the tech capital of the world, after all.

Who Was Headlining Outside Lands 2024?
We were excited to see the Outside Lands lineup for 2024. It was an incredible musical journey with headliners like Sabrina Carpenter, who was also part of the Coachella lineup 2024, The Killers, who were also part of the Boston Calling Festival 2024 Lineup, and Sturgill Simpson. It was a busy summer for Post Malone, who was in this year’s Rolling Loud lineup. He was a special guest star on Outside Lands and performed a country set.
At 2024’s Outside Lands, the attendees had a chance to watch Kaytranada, Chris Lake, Gryffin, The Postal Service, Jungle, and music icon Grace Jones.
Who Else Was Playing Outside Lands 2024?
The rest of the lineup looks amazing, too. Rock band Young the Giant, singer-songwriter/actress Reneé Rapp, and Victoria Monét could be headliners, too. For electronic music fans, the Soma stage was back, and Idris Elba was there to remind us that before he was a movie star, he was an amazing DJ.
