We couldn’t find many reviews about this festival, but one caught our eye. It’s Nick Polak’s review for the 2023 edition, published in Atwood Magazine.
In the title, he says Hinterland is the “hidden gem in the Midwest festival scene,” and we can tell he’s right!
“Muddy, sunny, and a lot of big names. All weekend long, the acts were stellar. Even though the weather wasn’t the most cooperating, it made for a more memorable experience. Camping festivals are always the most fun; there’s a camaraderie that can’t be recreated anywhere else,” says the author.
