Hinterland Festival Reviews
It is a pity that we were not able to attend the 2024 edition, but we were eager to collect other people’s experiences. There are thousands of happy faces going home after the festival ends. But, not all of them have good experience. We picked the review published on Austin Green‘s YouTube channel about the Hinterland 2024. The main complaint was about the water policy. We know that organizing festivals with a proportion of Hinterland music festivals is not easy. Still, we hope the organizer will address the issues from the last edition and improve things.
In addition, one more review caught our eye. It’s Nick Polak’s review for the Hinterland 2023 edition, published in Atwood Magazine.
In the title, he says Hinterland is the “hidden gem in the Midwest festival scene,” and we can tell he’s right!
“Muddy, sunny, and a lot of big names. All weekend long, the acts were stellar. Even though the weather wasn’t the most cooperating, it made for a more memorable experience. Camping festivals are always the most fun; there’s a camaraderie that can’t be recreated anywhere else,” says the author.
We’re sure that the weather will be much better in 2025, so every visitor can experience the authentic spirit of the festival.
