Hey, electronic dance music lovers! Imagine the desert sky coming alive with hundreds of lights, beats that resonate with your heart, and a sea of friendly faces united by a single passion: music. EDC Las Vegas is a journey for electronic dance music fans from all over the world to discover what the very best EDM lineup can offer.

Today’s festival is taking place in the heart of the Nevada desert, but it wasn’t always like this. The festival was first held in 1991 as a warehouse festival in Los Angeles. In 1995, festival founder Stephen Hauptuhr granted name rights to Insomniac legend Pasquale Rotella.

EDC is a multistage festival. Every stage like kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, and cosmicMEADOW offers a unique blend of visual and sound bliss. Most of all, EDC Las Vegas is a monument to the unyielding spirit of the EDM community. It’s a place to lose yourself in the music, find new friends among strangers, and experience the unforgettable magic of dancing until the sun rises over the neon-lit horizon.

EDC Las Vegas is surely one of the biggest music events in the US. According to Insomniac, 520,000 people attended the 3-day festival in 2023. It is an event that includes camping as well, and this adds to a really amazing experience.

Hold onto your neon gear and prepare to be transported into a realm of electronic euphoria because EDC Las Vegas 2024 is back and bigger than ever! Mark your calendars for the middle of May, as the Las Vegas Motor Speedway becomes the ultimate playground for music lovers and festival enthusiasts alike.

Prepare to be dazzled by the electrifying EDC Las Vegas lineup of over 200 DJs, including some of the biggest names in the electronic dance music scene.

Important Info About EDC Las Vegas 2024 and Lineup

Heading to Vegas for the ultimate electronic and dance music bash? We’ve scooped up all the must-know deets from the web and socials just for you.

Is VIP worth it?

Festival goers mostly agree, if you can afford it, EDC Las Vegas VIP is totally worth the price.

However, not everyone agrees, and some experiences are different…

Should I prepare for warm or cold weather?

Prepare for both. It can get really hot or freezing. You can use AC in tents but don’t expect miracles. Better come prepared for all weather. Days are usually very hot, and nights are cold.

I heard it takes forever to check in. Is this true?

Lines can get long. If you are coming in an RV, prepare to wait or come early. RV lines are long and take longer to check.

If you are going camping, bring 2-locks

You will need locks for the tents. Each tent has 2 doors, so you need 2 locks.

There is no cell service

Prepare for life without cell service. There are a lot of people in a small area, so coverage is terrible both near stages and in camp.

If you go with a group, set a meeting point where you can meet if you get lost. No messages, no DMs, you should prepare in advance.

Bring earplugs for sleeping and concerts

Protect your ears from too loud music, but you will also need some earplugs for sleeping. If you have issues sleeping with light (or sun up) bring sleeping masks as well. Events end late and camp parties continue even later. You will need your rest. EDC is draining your body, you can’t miss your sleep.

Will I see all the artists from the EDC lineup?

No. With 8 stages, you are likely to miss more than you see. But with planning and luck, you may see your favorite artist from the EDC lineup.

Bring a Hydration pack!

There is a lot of activity and the weather is hot. Don’t forget the hydro-pack, there are water refill stations inside the festival grounds.
