Today, May 4th, 2024, the Lovers and Friends festival organizers canceled the festival. Instead of having outstanding fun and joy on May 4th this morning, the organizer announced that the Lovers and Fiends lineup 2024 would not happen because of the lousy weather and High Wind Warning reported by the National Weather Service.
“This was an incredibly heartbreaking decision to make as we are aware that fans have traveled from all over the world to enjoy this incredible lineup of superstars and have been looking forward to this event for several months. We’ve worked hard to create an amazing event for you, and we are just as disappointed as you are.”
The organizer wrote on their Instagram profile.
The organizer said that the ticketholders who purchased their tickets through Front Gate Tickets will receive a refund through their original payment method within 30 days.
The announcement on Instagram triggered 10K comments from fans and attendees within just a few hours after the announcement was published.
Disappointed people who planned to travel to the festival ask for compensation for the whole trip. Some of them came from the UK for the festival.
