The wait is almost over. Beyoncé‘s new album, “Cowboy Carter,” or simply “Act II,” is coming out on March 29, 2024. It’s Queen Bey’s 8th studio album. Cowboy Carter is the second part of a trilogy that started with “Act I: Renaissance.” Columbia Records and Parkwood Entertainment will release the album.
The trilogy project started during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first part, “Act I: Renaissance”, was released in 2022. Beyoncé is working on three albums simultaneously, and she claims that the new album has been in work for five years already.
Beyoncé Country Album
Beyoncé’s new album isn’t her first time experimenting with country music. However, these experiments were few and far between; if anything, terrible experiences at CMAA (Country Music Association Awards) led the singer off the genre. Beyoncé and The (Dixie) Chicks performed “Daddy Lessons” at the 2016 CMAA. Some fans disliked that and criticized the singer and the CMAA.
“This ain’t a Country album. This is a “Beyoncé” album.”
claims Beyoncé.
We have already heard two singles from “Cowboy Carter.” “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em” were released on February 11 during the Super Bowl.
„Today marks the 10-day countdown until the release of act ii. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the supporters of “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” and “16 CARRIAGES”. I feel honored to be the first Black woman with the number one single on the Hot Country Songs chart. That would not have happened without the outpouring of support from each and every one of you. My hope is that years from now, the mention of an artist’s race, as it relates to releasing genres of music, will be irrelevant.“
The singer wrote in an Instagram post.
Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” Album Cover
The special edition of Beyoncé’s soon-to-be-released album, “Cowboy Carter,” will have a unique vinyl cover showcasing the star adorned with a sash. This sash prominently displays “Beyincé” and not “Beyoncé.” Is it a mistake or not?
Story Behind “Beyincé”
The unique spelling “Beyincé” pays homage to Beyoncé’s roots, particularly honoring her maternal grandmother, Agnéz Beyincé, originally named Deréon.
Beyoncé Nude On The Album’s Cover
On the album’s cover for Beyoncé’s second act of the trilogy “Renaissance,” “Cowboy Carter,” she poses naked with nothing but a sash.
Who Are the Album Producers?
The album was produced by Beyoncé, Dave Hamelin, Killah B, Atia Boggs, Raphael Saadiq, Hit-Boy (Chauncey Alexander Hollis Jr.), Stuart White, Mariel Gomerez, and Nathan (Nate) Ferraro
