Embarking on a ship in Miami for a serene cruise to Jamaica and the Bahamas might not be the typical association one makes with rock and metal music. Yet, that’s precisely the vibe of the Monsters of Rock Cruise in 2024 (one of the greatest rock music festivals in the United States), with some actual music masters on board. Passengers can party with over 30 hard rock bands on this festival edition.
Monsters of Rock Cruise occurs yearly on one of the Royal Caribbean cruisers. This year’s event will be taking place on Independence of the Seas. Guest will have a fantastic opportunity to spend five days and four nights on the sea with their favorite artists. This is the 12th time the festival has taken place.
Lucky passengers have boarded the luxury Independence of the Seas and are rocking hard. The lineup for the Monsters of Rock 2024 cruise guarantees legendary festivities. Ship decks will be rocking music from guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, who had a jam session with great guitarist Joel Hoekstra, to Quiet Riot, The Darkness, Ace Frehley, Queensrÿche, Extreme, and many more. Thirty-five legends are performing, which ensures a fun trip. Past cruises have also seen legends like Alice Cooper taking the helm of the “ship,” making it an unforgettable experience for all aboard.
Among the great artists and musicians is the bass guitarist Julia Lage, the guest on the fourth episode of the Denim and Leather podcast that will be released in the second week of March 2024.
The enjoyment is split between rocking hard on deck and some R&R on a few of the world’s most beautiful sandy beaches. Independence of the Seas will stop in Ocho Rios and Nassau, two beautiful ports in Jamaica and the Bahamas.
