Nokaut's fourth album

Promotion of Nokaut’s fourth Album “Shto barash ti vo moja pesna?“

On the evening of 16/10/2023, the pop-rock band Nokaut unveiled their fourth album, “Shto barash ti vo mo moja pesna” (translation: What are you looking for in my song?.) The album launch event was hosted at a popular café in Skopje, drawing a crowd of guests who attended the open promotion of the album.

The official segment of the album promotion began with an address to the attendees by Antonio Dimitrievski, the main editor of the website Vistina.mk. He highlighted the unique way in which Nokaut is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year on various occasions.

As anticipated, the frontman of Nokaut, Nikola Perevski – Pere, took the stage. He used the opportunity to introduce the album, express his gratitude to the collaborators, and acknowledge Nokaut’s audience.

A brief speech was delivered by Risto Vrtev, a guest at the event. He was notably enthusiastic during Nokaut’s mini-performance, in which they played several songs. Risto Vrtev is one of the songwriters for some tracks on Nokaut’s third album, “Do posleden zdiv”.

Nokaut’s fourth album, “Shto barash ti vo mo moja pesna?,” consists of 14 songs, all of which were previously released as singles over the past nine years, following the release of their third studio album, “Tri“. While the album is available on CD, a vinyl release is in the works, and although fans eager for the vinyl edition, they will need to exercise some patience.

25 years of Continuity

Nokaut stands out as one of the few unique and consistent bands in the Macedonian pop-rock scene. Their dedication to creating new music and delivering live performances and concerts contributes to their status as a stalwart fixture in the local music landscape.

Nokaut’s ability to celebrate 25 years of continuous existence is a remarkable achievement in a music scene where many bands may claim decades of existence but often include long periods of inactivity or hibernation. Their consistency sets them apart and solidifies their reputation as a truly enduring and influential presence.

Nokaut is one of the few bands that commands a substantial demand for tickets, reserved tables, and more at each of their performances.

Nokaut is one of the few bands that deliver an even better live performance than their studio recordings, if you catch my drift. And for this, they have their talented ensemble to thank, including Borche Kuzmanovski (keyboardist), Viktor Nikolovski (bass guitarist), Blagoja Antovski – Bage (drummer), Goran Kavrakov (saxophonist), Gorjan Petrovski (guitarist), Mia Perevska (vocalist), and, of course, the frontman and vocalist, Nikola Perevski – Pere.
