On 15/09/2023, Colombian music star Shakira announced her new song “El Jefe” (The Boss) on social networks. Lovers of Shakira’s music don’t have to wait too long to hear the song. The song will be officially released on 20/09/2023, and will be available on YouTube.
“El Jefe” is a collaboration of the 46-year-old singer with the band Fuerza Regida. The Mexican band is from San Bernardino, USA. The popularity of Mexican music has been on the rise for several months, and this is exactly one of the reasons for the collaboration, according to Billboard.
Of what we can see in the trailer, the new track is not too far from Shakira’s sound. The Mexican sound is present, but still, Shakira’s vocals make the song recognizable.
