Why did Drake postpone the release of the album “For all the dogs” to 06/10/2023?

Drake fans will need to exercise a bit more patience, as the release of the album “For All the Dogs” has been rescheduled from 22/09/2023 to 06/10/2023.

Drake announced on his Instagram account that the main reason for the delay of the album was his “It’s All a Blue” tour. The album has been rescheduled so he can finish the tour.

„Okay my dilemma I am faced with is either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show. I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to date we will be spinning back for sure“.

Before announcing the album delay, Drake released a new song “Slime You Out,” which is a collaboration with singer SZA and is expected to be part of the album “For All the Dogs”.

The tour is scheduled to end on 09/10/2023, and the album’s release date is 06/10/2023. On that date, Drake has a concert in his hometown of Toronto, which suggests he might have an exclusive album promotion for his local fans.
