You probably recall the comedy “My Big Fat Greek Wedding“. Surprisingly, the film has recently seen the release of its third sequel. An integral part of the film is the title song “Oli Mazi” (All Together), beautifully performed by Rita Wilson and Christos Mastoras (Χρήστος Μάστορας).
The actress and singer collaborated with the renowned Greek singer to create the song for the film. “Oli Mazi” is a creation by Wilson and Diane Warren. Warren is renowned for her collaborations with artists such as Celine Dion, Cher, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé.
“The Greek people are known for their love for family. “Oli Mazi” means “All together.” The song is about bringing people together whether it’s your family by birth or by choice, being there for each other and celebrating this love and connection. No one is a (Greek) island. (Thank you, John Donne.) We need each other. I’m excited to collaborate again with Greek singer Christos Mastoras, and to co-write “Oli Mazi with” my dear friend, the great Diane Warren.”

This is the second collaboration between Wilson and Mastoras. In 2019, they collaborated on the song “Let Me Be”. Both of them liked this collaboration, so they couldn’t wait to collaborate again.
