Dzejla Ramovic, the Popular Singer from Bosnia

Dzejla Ramovic is a young Bosnian singer who became famous in the region as the youngest winner of the Serbian talent show “Zvezde Granda“. Previously, she won over the audience on the children’s talent show “Neki novi klinci”. She released his first single in 2017.

Dzejla Ramovic was born on 29/04/2002, in Gorazhde, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is the youngest of the three sisters in the Ramovic family, with her elder siblings being Shejla and Lejla. Dzejla’s passion for singing emerged at an early age, and she had her inaugural stage experience at the age of four when she joined her older sister, Lejla, in a performance at the renowned international festival, “Shto se pjesmom sanja”. Their performance at the festival featured the delightful song “Chips i chokolada”.

In 2010, Dzejla Ramovic participated in the children’s talent show “Talent Time,” where she reached the final. Four years later, in 2014, she also competed in the “Nade sevdaha” contest.

In 2014, at the age of 12, Dzeija Ramovic took her first shot at the “Zvezde Granda” competition. Unfortunately, she was eliminated in the fifth round of the competition. Nevertheless, the jury recognized her potential and gave her valuable advice. They suggested that she should wait a few more years for her voice to fully develop before making another attempt.

Two years later, in 2016, Grand Production launched a fresh competition specifically tailored for younger contestants, titled “Neki novi klinci”. Dzejla Ramovic not only decided to participate in this inaugural competition but also achieved a remarkable victory, emerging as the winner.

In 2017, she made her debut in the music industry by releasing her first single titled “Ruzha”. The music and lyrics for this song were crafted by the renowned Serbian composer and lyricist, Bane Opachic.

Child Prodigy

Before her return to the “Zvezde Granda” competition, Dzejla Ramovic released two more singles, “Potrazhi me” and “Jedna kao ni jedna”. These songs contributed to her growing recognition in Bosnia and Herzegovina, leading to her being called a “child prodigy.” She also had the chance to perform with distinguished Bosnian music stars, including a notable collaboration with Dino Merlin.

Despite the superstitions surrounding the number 13, Dzejla Ramovic courageously participated in the 13th season of the competition. Surprisingly, the number 13 proved to be fortunate for her as she emerged as the winner of the show. During her journey on the show, her mentor was the renowned Serbian singer Marija Sherifovic.

As of 2021, Dzejla Ramovic was pursuing her education as a student at the EU Business School in Barcelona, Spain. During that year, there were initial reports in the media suggesting that the singer had discontinued her studies. However, it was later clarified that she had chosen to continue her education online.

At present, she is actively balancing her online studies with her music career. Fans can look forward to catching the singer in concert during November and December. An announcement has revealed that she has scheduled a total of twenty performances, with the majority of them taking place in the region.

As of now, Dzejla Ramovic has released a total of 8 singles. While she has not released an album yet, there are expectations based on her commitments that her debut album might be anticipated in 2024.

Currently, Dzejla Ramovic is in collaboration with Henny on the single “Rizik,” which was released on 25/09. The music for the song “Rizik” was composed by Noel Kharman and Nasir AlBashir, with lyrics written by Relja Torinno. Impressively, in just over a month, the song has garnered a substantial 7.4 million views on YouTube.
