The Macedonian-British duo YOVA is scheduled to perform at London’s Troubadour pub on 25/10/2023, with Leo Walrus and TJ Owuso also performing on the same night.
The evening will commence with performances by Leo Walrus and TJ Owuso, followed by an acoustic performance by YOVA, featuring Alex Thomas alongside. Alex Thomas, who also collaborates with artists like Anna Calvi, John Cale, and U.N.K.L.E, will share the stage with YOVA. The event is anticipated to have notable guests in the audience, including BJ Cole and Terry Edwards. BJ Cole has an extensive background performing with various artists such as The Stranglers, Björk, Depeche Mode, R.E.M., Sting, Robbie Williams, and Robert Plant. On the other hand, Terry Edwards has worked with renowned musicians like Nick Cave and Tom Waits and he is part of Holy Holy, the supergroup of David Bowie.
I have performed here several times, both solo and as part of YOVA. It’s a beautiful place with a great location, history, acoustics and it’s always a pleasure to come back.
Our performance will be acoustic accompanied by Alex Thomas, who plays with Anna Calvi, John Cale, U.N.K.L.E. We expect to see BJ Cole and Terry Edwards, who have collaborated on several YOVA songs, in the audience.

Fans of YOVA at the Troubadour will have the opportunity to experience the live performance of their latest single, “Dreamcatchers,” for the first time. This song has been gaining attention, including a recent play by Jim Sclavunos of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds on Soho Radio.
The song “Dreamcatchers,” released on 05/10/2023, serves as a preview for the upcoming album by YOVA. This single includes three different versions of the song, and the first version is currently available for listening. Fans can look forward to experiencing two more distinct renditions on the upcoming album. “Dreamcatchers” is co-authored by Jova Radevska and Mark Vernon.
YOVA, the captivating music duo, consists of the talented vocalist and songwriter Jova Radevska from Macedonia and musician Mark Vernon from England. They have collaborated with a diverse world known and excellent musicians. Their debut album, “Nine Lives,” was released in 2022.
It’s great to hear that YOVA’s debut album was well-received by the public. Fans can now look forward to their new studio album, expected to be released in 2024.
