Macedonian jazz guitarist and composer Vladimir Vasilevski – Chetkar has a busy schedule ahead. In addition to announcing his upcoming tour in South Korea, he’s set to release a new song titled “A New Day“. While the song was unofficially promoted on Super Radio, the official release date is scheduled for Wednesday, 13/09/2023.

“This Wednesday (13/09/2023), get ready for my new music video for the song “A New Day”, and brace yourself for the wonderful positive energy that will emanate from all sides!!!”
Chetkar is the sole creator of “A New Day”. The song was recorded at “Electrical Audio Studios” in Chicago, and produced by Steve Albini. Albini’s impressive portfolio includes collaborations with renowned artists and bands like Nirvana, Pixies, PJ Harvey, as well as work with Led Zeppelin members Jimmy Page and Robert Plant.
A video will be released along with the song. The video is directed by Bojan Simjanoski.
The single is a teaser for Chetkar’s upcoming album. While there’s no specific release date for the album just yet, it’s expected to drop in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates!
Touring in the East
The latest song release is just one of Chetkar’s ongoing ventures. He recently unveiled his Asian tour, where the Macedonian guitarist will perform in South Korea and Japan. Notably, this marks Vladimir’s second appearance at the prestigious Jarasum International Jazz Festival. The Seoul concert will be held on 07/10/2023.
Immediately after the Seoul concert, Chetkar will go to Japan for his second concert on this compact tour, scheduled for 08/10/2023.
In addition to Chetkar, the tour will feature fellow musicians including Filip Stefanovski, Filip Dimishkovski, Djole Maksimovski, Dino Milosavljevic, and Bobby Walker.
