Thea and Duper Join Forces in the New Single “Ne mi Davash Son”

„Ne mi davash son“ - Thea and Duper

Macedonian singer  Tea Trajkovska, widely known as Thea, joined forces with the pop duo Duper to unveil their inaugural collaborative track on 08/09/2021. Titled “Ne mi davash son” (You don’t give me sleep), this sensational pop song beautifully joins the distinctive styles of both Duper and Thea.

The collaboration with Duper came about serendipitously, although initially, we were working on an entirely different song. However, once we entered the studio and let our creative energies converge, something new unfolded. “Ne mi davash son” resonates deeply with us as artists, yet it’s a new sound, both for me and for them. Undoubtedly, the potential for future collaborations is on the horizon, given the immensely positive experience and success of this project. I’m also excited to share that I have several other collaborations in the pipeline for the coming months.

The lyrics of the song are a collective effort by Tea Trajkovska, Ilcho Nechovski (Duper), and Boris Kaurinov (Duper), while Ilcho and Thea lent their vocals to the track. In addition, Thea, Ilcho, and Boris collaborated with Lazar Cvetkoski to compose the music for the song. Notably, Cvetkoski is also credited for the arrangement and the production of “Ne mi davash son.”

Tea Trajkovska has already an impressive portfolio of a dozen publications. Among them are notable tracks like “Senki“ (Shadows), “Shto bi bilo” (What would be), “Koga najdobro te poznavam” (When I know you best). Similarly, Duper has also introduced a dozen releases. Fans are likely well-acquainted with their hit singles such as “Ne sum tvoj tip” (I’m not your type of guy) and “Telo za TV” (Body for TV). Marking a significant milestone, three years following their initial single, the duo unveiled their debut album “Hiper” in July.

The collaboration for this song was initiated by Tea Trajkovska, which Duper accepted immediately and with pleasure.

I’m looking forward to this song and the collaboration. Let us have a joyful holiday and listen to Macedonian music
