Orianthi Penny Panagaris, known simply as Orianthi, is a talented Greek Australian musician, singer-songwriter, and guitarist. She was born on 22 January 1985, in Adelaide, South Australia. She gained international recognition for her virtuosic guitar skills and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music. Orianthi's career took off after she rehearsed with Michael Jackson for his ill-fated "This Is It" concert series in 2009. She is also known for her role as the lead guitarist in Alice Cooper's touring band, making her the group's first female member. Her debut single, "According to You," from her second album Believe (2009), was a commercial success, reaching the top 20 in several countries. Over the years, Orianthi has released four studio albums: "Violet Journey" (2007), Believe (2009), "Heaven in This Hell" (2013), and "O" (2020), along with an EP titled "Fire" (2011). She has been recognized as one of the "12 Greatest Female Electric Guitarists" by Elle magazine and was awarded "Breakthrough Guitarist of the Year" by Guitar International in 2010. With a career that spans various genres, including rock and blues, Orianthi continues to inspire music lovers around the world with her exceptional talent and stage presence.
