uh Todd okay thank you thank you for coming to the episode of denim and Lea podcast uh from uh Ace fre from fre
0:13
Comet from uh 4 by fate and from solo care great solo career uh Todd Howard
0:20
thank you thank you Ros thank you thank you man I wanted to ask you first uh uh we
0:28
we'll get back to your to solo career on uh how many records you have I think you have four right solo records actually
0:36
eight oh eight solo records wow yeah yeah now that I think about it it's
0:42
either seven or eight I think but something that I didn't know I
0:48
know a few of your bands but I didn't know that you were in a band called 707 yes that was my first major
0:56
recording Act was 707 and I joined them in
1:02
1981 when I moved to LA moved to LA in late 79
1:08
1980 and by the time I had auditioned and found out about 7:07 it was I think
1:16
uh I me I knew about them but I I auditioned I think late 80 or early 81
1:23
and uh eventually got the gig so you uh you you played guitar
1:30
or I play Four instruments I play uh initially I learned piano first I was
1:37
always singing uh then I played drums uh for a
1:42
few years uh but I was always playing piano and then I picked up guitar and bass so I play Four instruments you know
1:50
guitar bass are primarily the same I play drums keyboards guitar bass and I'm
1:56
a singer songwriter producer yeah and you and you sing so uh yeah so yeah uh
2:03
you started how many what record you you have records with 707 right yeah we the
2:10
first one I recorded with them was a a record called megga Force no actually it
2:17
was the bridge and during that time the label that we were on
2:24
Casablanca uh the part the man that was running it for us NE Bo
2:31
uh I believe that's how it worked out he was instrumental in having us uh record
2:37
the bridge and then he passed away and or was it I think it was Neil
2:45
Bogart and then the album got shelved for years so while that was shelv we got
2:51
on a new record label cuz they released us onto Boardwalk
2:56
records and we recorded uh song called the album mega force oh and mega force
3:05
had some songs on it one of them which was the title track Mega Force which
3:10
later became a song called calling to you in Fry's Comet oh okay okay you
3:15
don't know that by the way there is Mega Force records company back in the day
3:20
right that's part of the story yes oh okay I didn't know that but I didn't know that you were on a same uh on the
3:27
same label cablanca as kiss were in the late in the early days of Kiss yeah that
3:34
that's wild how that all wrapped around yeah I I always seem to be a couple
3:39
degrees away from Kiss uh even though I was never you know with kiss around kiss
3:46
yeah yeah also I think CU Blanca were also Angel right yes yeah yeah okay yeah
3:55
uh so they they were yeah in the 70s they were pretty big label but in the '
4:00
80s I I I think I don't think so right yeah it the power changed a little bit I
4:06
think you know uh kiss seemed to lose a little bit of his popularity to a degree Angel was you know up and then and then
4:14
then down to a degree and I know a lot of the guys in Angel um matter of fact
4:20
the replacement base player Felix Robinson went on the play with 707 for a
4:25
while and I just played I just played with him uh on a couple songs up in uh
4:32
or actually we saw each other in in Florida when I did a uh no it was New York I did a a special birthday party
4:38
for a manager of ours and and Punky Meadow was there with with Denny with Denny
4:44
Stenton uh no uh yeah Danny right yeah he he was a guest on my show we know
4:50
each other right that's right I think he mentioned it yeah yeah Dan is great guy Dan is awesome uh I met him several
4:57
times in Europe uh on festivals backstage he's always the best um I'm
5:03
yeah I'm not surprised that's great yeah uh wanted to ask you after afterwards
5:08
after 707 you you auditioned for freas Comet or you made the band together
5:15
after 7 after 707 um I pretty much went kind of
5:21
financially broken I was living in San Francisco at that point and uh I had
5:28
sang back backups for Ted nent on his penetrator album with the late Brian how
5:36
who was lead singer of at that point and then Ted knew me from touring with 707
5:43
and Ted nent and Ted uh said hey I know that guy plays guitar
5:48
and keyboards and he sings you know let's get him in the myouring band for
5:53
the penetrator album uh in early January of 1984 so they called me up after I
5:59
moved move back to San Diego which I'm here now and said hey uh you want to come out and and audition or really
6:07
don't need to audition we know what you can do just come out start rehearsing and do the European tour and then probably the states tour I said yeah
6:13
sure so I joined newent in 1984 for for the tour yeah and for the
6:20
record yeah yeah well I did I did all the backgrounds the record was done and I done the backgrounds uh sing singing
6:28
for a penetrator and then all of all of Ted's touring in
6:33
1984 I did that and uh then when that was over it was over and you know I had
6:41
uh I had uh two young kids at that point in time they like okay I need to uh
6:47
continue to work here what's going to go on and by that time uh I had been
6:54
pursued by cheap tricks management and people because some of the people that
6:59
play with them and were working with them new of me from La I said hey this guy can play keyboard and sing and and
7:07
he's got this high range and everything so they got in contact with me and so I auditioned twice for cheap
7:14
trick um uh and eventually got on the that
7:23
tour with them in 1985 and ' 86 so you did the tour with them but no records
7:30
no real records They really didn't need anybody for records cuz you know they can all Tinker around on keyboards
7:37
enough as it was to record yeah later they ended up using some other people I did go in the studio with them a couple
7:44
times and we did some stuff for uh uh matter of fact I did the demo for Mighty
7:50
Wings uh for the Top Gun movie and worked that all out and then they
7:55
re-recorded it and used some a studio musician back in in uh Chicago so no I never did any of their Studio albums I
8:02
just toured with them extensively but you did uh you you did sing uh becking
8:07
also on loudness right on the the the the ja loudness yeah that loudness came
8:14
later when um they knew of me when I was playing with Frey's comt oh oh it was
8:21
later on okay uh later on so you you created uh together with Ace fre Comet
8:28
or you were invited how how was that what happened is I was on tour with with
8:33
Chief trick and in 85 and 86 and I think in
8:39
about mid 86 we were touring doing a co-headlining with John weight you know
8:46
from the babies yeah when he was doing I ain't missing you at all that that tour
8:53
great great song and uh I used to listen to the band uh do their sound check and
8:59
it was Frankie Lorac on drums and John Regan on bass Arthur Ste on keyboards
9:05
and I was going wow they sound great you know because I love I love John we's vocals so one time after their sound
9:12
check I just went right up to John rean he was walking into the the arena
9:17
because we were playing this pretty big place and I I walked up to John and I said hey I'm Tod Howard I play keyboards
9:25
Cheap Trick I love the way you sound Your Bass tone it's amazing and oh yeah I know who you are I've been watching
9:31
you sing up there so we got to talking and he learned that I could play I told
9:37
him you I'm I'm actually a guitar player I'm a least singer songwriter and you know I've been playing keyboards first
9:43
but you I'm playing keyboards for cheap trick so he said that's amazing he said I'm working on a project right now so I
9:50
really can't tell you who it is but I'm working on a project uh that you might might be fitted for someone like you if
9:58
you know if the styles mesh so we exchanged information and we saw each other through the rest of the tour and
10:05
then after the we had a break on the tour and John had called me and said hey
10:12
this is who it is it's it's Ace fry from kiss and it's the band called fa's Comet we've got five members and we want to
10:18
consolidate down to four members oh okay and we'd like you to come audition so I
10:26
managed to have my travel agent who booked my flight for for a cheap trick
10:32
they I had him fly me out to New York prior to a day of going to the next
10:39
leg on a cheap trick tour and I auditioned for uh John Ace and Anton was
10:45
in the studio and I think it was wasn't sir but some studio in New York I forget I think it was recording studio yeah it
10:52
it was Anon fig on drums right yeah Anon fig yeah and uh and it was it was great
11:01
uh I've never seen Ace without makeup but because I never really followed him um and then um the band was good but you
11:09
know it was a small room but you I was like wow it's pretty pounding the the material wasn't quite what I wanted to
11:14
do but you know it's still a business move and I thought you know could work and uh you know Ace you know he liked me
11:21
and the band liked me or the guys did but Ace wasn't too sure of me cuz I wasn't a wild lead player I mean I can
11:27
play leads but mine are pretty much Melody and stuff but so uh I I went back on to CH trick and
11:37
John said hey come on back and you know do some other stuff do some leads and do this do that so I did the second thing
11:43
the second another time I flew out and audition the second time and that's when
11:48
a said yeah I think the guy will work and that's how I get into Fry's Comet and I went into the studio in January of
11:55
1987 to uh finish up the album they had already started according which was ph's Comet so you you sang on on that album
12:04
also uh yeah I think I sang about three so I sang uh breakout I think I sang I
12:12
think something moved and I can't remember what the other song I don't even have the records
12:17
here with me but um yeah and I uh contributed either one or two songs and
12:25
of course they got a little bit more involved for second sighting but yeah the album had already been in the
12:31
process of being recorded is it is that the is sorry is that the album that edit run got
12:37
signed yes oh okay Eddie Eddie Trunk yeah he got he got signed and that was
12:44
um the album that U uh oh God uh Mega
12:50
Force no no megga force uh well it was Mega Force records distributed by
12:58
Atlantic oh okay okay okay yeah but uh I'm I'm kind of having a a brain fart
13:04
here thinking of the the producer um Eddie krer Ed Eddie Kramer he did the
13:09
first that that that record and uh they had already started recording it and I went in embellished and I added some
13:16
stuff guitars and and vocals background then some lead vocals and um it was it
13:21
was a fun record a lot of fun it's a great record you you also were on the on the second one right second sighting
13:28
came came out um we before that came out we had a live plus one uh recording with
13:35
Anton fig back uh in the band for two weeks because Anton fig couldn't tour
13:41
with the original Friendly's Comet because he got the job with David lman show and that would go on to last uh him
13:48
for over 30 years so it was a smart move on Anton fig to stay with Letterman uh
13:54
so we got Billy Ward not from Sabbath but another Billy Ward very good drummer
14:00
but he and John you know butt heads on that John finally told him you know
14:06
you're out and he got Jamie aler to come back in the band but before that we did
14:12
two weeks with Anon fig and recorded live plus one and that was released as
14:19
you know like a live EP yeah then they the record company wants to release
14:24
another record which I thought was too soon and Ace wasn't ready you know writing
14:31
all the songs and he was sick a lot through that recording so I had a lot of songs ready
14:37
to go in including the song it's over now which is a power ballad and so we
14:45
record that record primarily a lot with Ace not being there a lot because he
14:52
just he didn't have the songs ready uh we were plan to meet the deadline for the record company and and he was sick a
14:59
lot but I mean he and he didn't really protest it he he just wasn't there and
15:06
because John and I pushed to get the song uh the the album out uh people had
15:12
the conception that we were trying to take over the band which was you nowhere near the case it was just the way things
15:18
were but what was the uh I I I saw some I I didn't see the video I read a video
15:26
uh of you uh that uh that Atlantic Records wanted to drop you off the band
15:33
of relas com oh yeah well what had happened is
15:39
after we were on tour with Iron Maiden and the second second sighting
15:44
was already out and they had a couple sing singles and it was doing okay we on
15:50
tour with Iron Maiden unfortunately it wasn't planned very well financially that wasn't my fault I
15:57
didn't have anything to do with that but I guess I could have stepped in said hey we're spending way too much money we ran
16:02
out of money and damn there went bankrupt on that tour so we had to to leave and in the process of that falling
16:10
apart uh the the label thought let's get the band back in and do another record
16:17
but let's have Ace write and sing everything and not have Todd do any of
16:22
that so I guess I kind of blamed it on me to a degree which you know maybe it
16:27
was partly that perspective was the fault I don't know you know primarily the ace fans
16:35
wanted to see Ace and Ace uh styled material I get that I mean even more so
16:40
now but back then for me at that point I had three children and a family and a
16:46
house I'm going how am I going to support myself if I can't write songs
16:52
and then if I'm not even singing him that's you know just a slap in the face to me yeah so that's why decid look you
16:59
know I called Ace up and I said ace I'm you know I I can't I can't stay I going to have to you know try my luck and and
17:06
strike out and try to get a solo deal or put another band together because I'm screwed if I can't make any money yeah
17:13
uh publishing or otherwise and he understood it he said I he said you know I understand I wish you wouldn't go but
17:19
you know I understand what you have to do and that's exactly what happened yeah yeah yeah yeah you're you're still great
17:25
with Ace right a tonight I mean we when we see each other which is not very
17:32
often anymore uh we're fine uh we don't have I don't have a problem with him he doesn't
17:37
have a problem with me we haven't talked to each other in years well last time I saw him was uh I think we did the we did
17:46
a show in Miami when I was with 4 by fate and then we had Return of the Comet
17:51
with Richie Scarlet Steve Budgy Warner and we had
17:57
uh but that was actually for by Fate but anyhow we had Ace come up and do a song with us
18:05
and it that it the sound went bad or there was a big debacle on there Ace was
18:11
irritated because he couldn't hear himself uh that was primarily I think the last time I I spoke with Ace Andor
18:19
it may have been in one of the shows uh we did a show with him he was with his band at the chance
18:27
in New York and with 4 by Fate but we haven't really talked a lot at all though Ace is doing what Ace wants to do
18:34
and that's his own solo band yeah yeah yeah yeah and so after fre combat came
18:41
the '90s and in the '90s you recorded I think solo albums right I went back with
18:47
Cheap Trick In 1990 late 90 early 91 I think it was late 90 oh okay I went back
18:53
for cheat trick for another six years but in the meantime I started recording a bunch of solo stuff my first solo
19:01
effort was just me a small little eight track uh digital machine and I had to
19:07
use a drum drum machines on my keyboard CU I didn't have a real set so I had to
19:13
program the drums and you know the production was horrible but that's the first first solo uh Solo solo CD was
19:21
called silhouette okay and so all through the years yeah I I put out
19:26
about about eight CDs now it's solo uh Records yes solo records yes how did it
19:34
go all s financed and I had uh uh one just distributed by shock records uh
19:42
Cobalt parlor uh and that that uh I put a band together tour behind it but you
19:50
know that's so expensive that just didn't work out yeah that's tough uh but uh while you while you were doing the
19:57
solo records you also played in other bands or no yeah Cheap Trick no after
20:02
afterwards after 2000 after after Cheap Trick I I put together I had actually
20:08
before it was back with chap trick I put a solo band together here in San Diego
20:14
in 1990 I take this going backwards yeah put a couple solo bands together and
20:19
even into into sheep trick and we got signed by Jean Simmons records oh Jean
20:25
came to see us and I talked to Jean and he he signed us and we did a showcase and we were signed
20:31
to Simmons records and we're going to get distribution by Warner's Brothers okay in in in uh in early 90 91 and then
20:42
that's when grunge started to take off yeah yeah and they dropped us like a hot
20:47
potato wow yeah like like like many B like many great B of the early 90s yeah
20:54
yeah that genre was over with because Here Comes you know sound Gard Allison J Stone Temple Pilots uh and all these
21:02
bands that I actually really like but it it wasn't of my genre and uh you know
21:07
that you know my stuff was everybody knew was familiar with me being with Fry's Comet and you know Cheap Trick and
21:14
that type of thing so yeah it killed killed my record deal quickly yeah so
21:20
after 2000 2000s maybe you did some other b or uh I know I'm I'm very
21:27
familiar with for by Fate but before 4 by Fate did you have any bed before 4 by Fate no because I had um
21:37
solo stuff I yeah SOLO stuff there was I was going to put something together here
21:44
in I guess uh 2010ish somewhere around there but it just became very labor
21:51
intensive so I started working on just writing material I was doing a lot of
21:56
working on on the commercial real estate that we own uh so I was busy doing
22:02
physical work and writing songs and that's and I was on in contact with John
22:07
rean and he kept asking me hey you know let's try to do a reunion thing with Ace fry see we get Fry's comment to some we
22:15
get Anton fig and us together and so we finally got a hold of of Ace because he
22:20
was very distant and he had no real interest in it and if he was going to do it he
22:27
wanted way too much money for his cut and there's just no feasible way to do it so um that led to 4X fate ban being
22:36
put together yeah you uh that was about 2015 I think yeah I had last year about
22:42
a year ago when I started this podcast I had a guest Sean Kelly the guitar player
22:48
that that play that played with you uh yeah great guy great great player yeah
22:54
great guy and uh I I I follow because I'm a huge twisted sister fan so I
22:59
followed all that for by Fai did you know uh cool and the the album was
23:05
incredible great production great songs thank you I loved the album so uh I me
23:11
being a huge AJ perro uh fan God bless him and John ran God bless him
23:19
uh uh I I don't know why you switched so many uh drummers St Howland and uh robao
23:26
it was three drummers right right well what happened is we put the
23:32
band together or the band actually was kind of assembled for us with Sean Kelly is a great guitar player great guy and
23:39
SE Howen uh so we are going into the stud R John and I finance the first well
23:45
actually the whole record uh the Relentless record we getting ready to go on the record John and I are down doing
23:51
a kiss convention in New York I think it was in New Jersey or Long
23:56
Island and all of a sudden a friend of ours a fan of ours said have you seen
24:02
this post about St I like what I said st's been in a car wreck and we're going
24:08
in the studio in two days and I said no I haven't heard anything about that at all and set never called us to let us
24:15
know he was in a car wack it's like oh jeez so we get all s and said dude how you doing you be okay with it I say I
24:22
don't think I'll be recording and said and we didn't want to rub it in say well why didn't you call us and tell us cuz
24:28
we got studio time booked and blah blah so Danny Stanton who was also instrumental in putting the band
24:34
together um he and and this is after the original
24:40
4X fate with Sean Kelly had played uh he found us AJ Perell because
24:46
AJ Perell was kind of on some idle time you know not doing a lot with sister was
24:52
on a break and nobody knew at the time but I think he was going to break away from Twist's sister cuz he was doing
24:59
some other heavy stuff as well uh so we asked AJ Perell to do this and I sent
25:05
him some tracks and he loved it great guy then we got in the studio and I
25:11
actually taught him songs in the recording studio and we tracked a few of
25:16
those songs Just AJ Perell and me and then John came in later and put the base in yeah and so it was I mean we were
25:23
just Relentless in putting this thing together yeah and we were going to record the next part of the album after
25:29
the first part of the year when Danny Stan got married and AJ Perell passes away oh man
25:37
yeah so we're like oh this is horrible so at Danny Stanton's wedding was Soul
25:44
system Orchestra wedding band which is Rob fuso's Corporation and unbelievable Band
25:53
by the way and so I had never met Rob but a couple other guys met Rob and knew Rob and so we got to talking to Rob and
26:00
said hey would you be interested in doing the rest of the record and Rob said well let you know let let me listen to the stuff and and he did and yeah
26:07
sounds great so we recorded the rest of stuff with Rob same thing I taught him some of the stuff in his Studio yeah and
26:14
then brushed it up in our studio got that done and that's how Rob got into 4 by Fate yeah and you had some gigs right
26:22
you also were in Europe I think no yes yeah yeah we did we did uh a uh some
26:29
shows uh we did uh I think we did uh
26:34
with st Hall and we did Brussels I believe then we did uh Australia with
26:40
with Roba Fuso but we never got to play a lot unfortunately yeah yeah yeah so uh was
26:49
uh there any plans with that band to record some more stuff or to tour more
26:54
or no John and I had thought about doing it and we were thinking about doing it
26:59
before John had passed and and I John and I were kind of
27:05
licking our wounds because it took us it took us a while but we recouped our money from from doing the record uh but
27:12
we didn't make a lot of money not that we were in it to make a lot of money we just want to get the music out yeah get
27:18
our investments back and try to keep pounding and see if we get out there touring but it's again so difficult to
27:25
do with with older guys who need make need to make some money and and you know cut some corners
27:32
but need to to to pay the bills and it which just really difficult so uh by the
27:38
time that I should mention Pat gasperini by this time great songwriter great guitar player had replaced Sean Kelly
27:45
because Shawn decided it was too heavy he wanted out uh we had uh talked about doing
27:53
another record again but we never did but Pat gasparini and I are still
28:01
talking right now about trying to do something but not so much on the recording level just more live stuff but
28:09
it's just he's in a couple of the Bands you know I've been doing some other projects I want to work on some solo
28:15
stuff again this year one more time one more time yeah I'm 68 years old this
28:20
year so I I'm have some ideas that I want to do and who knows what's going to
28:25
happen but 4 by Fate may just put something back
28:30
out there again I don't know who the lineup's going to be but hopefully I'm in it maybe maybe you can you can get
28:36
Roba fusu again I mean he's probably it depends on his schedule he's he's so very busy that was kind of a tough thing
28:44
too because great guy loving the death and we get along so well and he's phenomenal drummer yeah uh but his
28:51
business is so important cuz he's got to make the money that when he's got
28:56
contracts to do show here and there and then Europe he's got to do them so try to book shows with 4X fate we can't do
29:04
that because Rob's got to do this and we're over there ah you know it's like it's tough to do but who knows what
29:11
it'll happen for later this year man know I'm I'm a I'm a drummer and me being a fan uh he has some iconic drum
29:20
drums on the first two skid records it's yeah unbel he's badass he's when we
29:26
first when he first started playing 4 by Fate he was still playing kind of like the wedding stuff which is still you
29:32
know good intense but it wasn't like you know the Rob we all knew so when John rean and I got together with him on his
29:39
Ranch in Upstate New York and we started going through the tunes John and I are looking at you're like what's going on
29:45
here Rob come on hit those things harder what the [ __ ] you know so he got kind of
29:51
like I can hit these so he started hitting hard and okay that that's the guy we know you know then he start
29:58
poundy yeah yeah he hit so hard he had to wrap his wrist like son of a [ __ ] I haven't hit this hard in a while but we
30:04
got him back in the shape you know and and he was smoking yeah yeah yeah uh
30:10
what are your your plans now what are your future plans you you want to make a record or what are you doing uh right
30:18
now I have right now I am working on and this is my little my little second
30:23
Studio I have two Studios a big studio and a little studio uh they're both a mess but I'm I'm writing new
30:30
material that is going to be a different style than my last heavy rock CD it's
30:37
not going to be so dark and brooding I guess as it were it's going to be
30:43
more it's hard to describe but it's going to be more modern more upbeat Dancy
30:50
bouncy uh kind of like well it's me but
30:55
Van Halen meets blue murder meets Al and chains meet Stone Temple Pilots
31:01
means uh I don't know some Modern material yeah just driving pounding good
31:08
rock with good Melody and not a lot of luls and stuff like that I want I want
31:13
some bouncing stuff you know when soon we start playing people going [ __ ] that's good stuff you know bouncing and
31:19
moving you going uh because I think that's important to get the get the
31:24
crowd into that type of stuff and I have local guys here they're unbelievable
31:29
musicians that I've just started to meet in playing and guest appearing with
31:35
other friends of mine I guessed appear in some vocals I even did some bass guitar for some friends of mine just recently yeah uh in the House of Blues
31:42
here it was a lot of fun um but I've got a couple guys that really smoke and I'm
31:48
going to use local guys here to do a local project we're going to record
31:53
first and if it goes good enough then I'll say let's take it out and play locally see what happens yeah that way
32:00
we keep our costs down by staying local yeah yeah you know and if something
32:05
happens with it yeah maybe I can get a couple you know years out of it or a little bit of leg but you know we'll see
32:11
what happens you know there's Young new Young Rockers that come up and they're kicking ass and you they're going to be
32:17
move over old dude you know uh no school like the old school
32:23
you know yeah it it you really when you listen to some of the old stuff's like
32:28
man that really is pumping uh but it's you got to get the listen the crowd the
32:34
listening in our crowd now yeah a lot of them are be are now becoming
32:39
grandparents yeah marous In Crowd is like usually you know 50s mid-50s and
32:46
younger uh I mean some older as well but and and I'm a grandparent you know I've got a 19-year-old grandson is in the
32:53
Navy got 11-year-old granddaughter and a almost four-year-old uh another
32:58
granddaughter so those people are all all older and they're busy like yeah we
33:04
want to rock but first we got to do this other thing over here you know come on old people you know so it's you gotta
33:12
get the people out of their their shell to come see the old rockers again yeah and some of those people are going to
33:17
bed at 9:30 it's kind of late ah for bed you were you were just in uh in uh n
33:26
right on the yeah yeah I I saw you with on Facebook with your van and stuff right I was with
33:34
uh with what now with your trailer you have a trailer oh yeah the our motor
33:39
hole Yeah Yeah the uh we have a diesel pusher it's 40t long two slide outs I'm really
33:45
comfortable matter of fact I'm selling it now cuz we're going to get even bigger one oh yeah I've got to get a
33:51
special license to go 45 ft long uh but yeah we went to n and had a great time
33:57
the Valerie my wife Valerie went with me ran to a bunch of local guys here that
34:03
we know and then I ran to my cousin Jason Chef who plays bass and and sang for the band Chicago for years who he's
34:10
talented uh and then I ran to a bunch I ran to Matt star uh I ran to a bunch of other people
34:17
that I know uh it was good a good show um you did play there something no I I
34:24
did a couple songs with some a friend of mine g uh Gian con Jin Carlo
34:29
floridia uh he writes for Frontier Frontier records and and talented talent
34:35
I call him a kid talented kid uh plays guitar and sings sings his butt off and
34:40
uh but I that's the only thing I really did there I didn't play for anybody else um this year uh but uh it it uh it was a
34:50
good name ran to a lot of people that even from the East Coast so it was a lot of fun awesome awesome man uh
34:58
okay we we should uh wrap it up uh you told me your future plans and uh and uh
35:04
I wish you all the best in the in the next few years with the if you're preparing the record thank you and I
35:11
forgot to say you ask I am my book my autobiography is done wow really I am in
35:17
in the process right now of of getting it to the editor to edit it and then I'm
35:23
going to get it published and then it's going to be out of my Todd howard. biz s when is it when is it going
35:29
out I I'm not sure it's it's probably going to be at least maybe a month or so
35:36
uh because I was ready to be out before Christmas but I had a problem with the publishing company that I was going to
35:43
use so I had to revamp and I'm going with another company to help me with it
35:48
uh and then of course Christmas came and and I had some issues with my uh family
35:54
issues with my my parents uh my mother 92 years old broke a hip W and uh and
36:00
then I had some shows I had to do in Florida and and then here in San Diego and and elsewhere uh guest appearances
36:06
but uh I'll be doing the uh the book will be out and and it'll uh and hopefully get a lot of people to read it
36:14
and then I'm going to do an audio book right here in my studio uh with it as well you're going to do a book tour
36:20
maybe uh I don't know if I'll do that it's it's a possibility depends on how well it does yeah yeah yeah great I'm
36:29
going to be buying that book I love uh Rock stuff um uh Rock biographies really
36:36

36:42

36:49

36:55
to put all the the the the juicy stuff well I don't know if I'm you know I'm I'm not really sure I should I had some
37:01
females say yeah you better put that stuff in there yeah okay so it'll be if
37:07

37:14
